As a Tier 1 automotive supplier with two locations in the Czech Republic and around 300 employees, JOPP had already implemented an improvement suggestion system—although with partial digitization—before partnering with us.
However, the company faced challenges with long lead times between idea submission and implementation, and sought a more user-friendly way to streamline the suggestion-sharing process.
Goals
JOPP’s key objectives were to simplify the idea submission process and accelerate communication across locations and responsible teams. The former system relied on manual processes, including traveling between locations with paper documents, exchanging emails, and making frequent phone calls.
Our Solution
Working closely with the CI coordinator and the team leaders, we tailored the eKaizen platform to meet JOPP’s unique needs. A custom submission form was created, complete with company branding and mobile accessibility. JOPP had already been using posters with QR codes to promote idea submissions, and we updated these with simplified instructions, highlighting the automatic progress updates that submitters would now receive.
A significant focus was placed on improving task management and workflow design, addressing challenges in ensuring the right people—across both locations—were notified of new tasks and could easily collaborate. Additionally, the platform’s implementation included an employee rewards system to further motivate participation.
Results

Centralizing CI management through eKaizen has significantly sped up the flow of information. Stakeholders, from team leaders to project implementers, now have real-time access to the same data.
